Mark Harvard is a pastor, communicator, and speaker whose life has been shaped by faith, perseverance, and the transforming power of God's grace. Before entering full-time ministry, Mark spent years working in radio, developing a passion for storytelling, connecting with audiences, and communicating messages that make a lasting impact. In 2013, following the devastating loss of his first wife, Mark answered God's call into full-time ministry. What began as a season of unimaginable grief became a defining chapter in his faith journey, teaching him firsthand what it means to trust God when life doesn't make sense. Since answering that call, Mark has served in pastoral ministry, walking alongside individuals and families through life's greatest joys and most difficult valleys. He currently serves as Lead Pastor of Morningstar Methodist Church in Chelsea, Alabama.
Drawing from both his personal experiences and years of pastoral ministry, Mark brings a unique combination of heartfelt authenticity, biblical teaching, and engaging communication to churches, conferences, retreats, and special events. His personal journey through loss, grief, rebuilding, and discovering God's faithfulness in the midst of adversity gives him a powerful perspective on finding hope when circumstances seem hopeless. Mark is especially passionate about helping people understand that faith does not exempt us from suffering, but it gives us a foundation on which to stand when suffering comes. Whether speaking about navigating grief, overcoming adversity, trusting God's plan, or finding purpose after loss, Mark combines Scripture, personal stories, and moments of humor to encourage audiences with a message of hope: Our hardest chapters do not have to be the end of our story, and God is still at work even when we cannot see what He is doing.
